[cafe] Le Jardin du Petit Palais – Paris 8th

Even if this café is not specifically a “baby-friendly” place, it pleased us particularly by its tranquillity and its location…a pretty good address for a break while walking between la Concorde and les Champs-Elysées.

Petit Palais is the Art Museum of city of Paris. In a superb building, it hosts collections from Antiquity till begining of 20th century…and as (almost) all museums managed by the City of Paris, its entrance to permanent collections is free (entrance fees for temporary exhibitions and workshops).

Located in the heart of the building, the café Le Jardin du Petit Palais offers a large room soberly decorated.
Its menu shows drinks, light meals and snacks all day long. And, depending on the weather, you’ll be able to enjoy a table in the garden. The café does not have high chairs (but there is room enough to install the stroller next to you). No baby changing facilities neither in the museum (only a “large table” with no changing mat in the Ladies restroom on floor 0…).

[cafe with a stroller] Café Central Paris 7è

Staying or visiting the 7th arrondissement with baby?
Have a walk to rue Clerc, a pedestrian street in which food shops – vegetables, cheese, fine food, …- are side by side with fashion shops. In the center of the street (and of the arrondissement), you’ll find the Café Central with its terrace and its large inside Parisian café decorated room.

Space between tables (inside) will allow you to navigate with  baby in its stroller or install him next to you.

Café offers a (bamboo) high chair and a changing table is available in the (ladies) restroom.

[family-friendly burgers] Loulou friendly diner – Paris 5th Saint Germain

Boulevard St Germain, 2 steps from St Michel, a welcoming “diner” that is fully  baby-friendly.
High chair and changing table available will make this “burger” stop easier with baby. Moreover, the main room is large and you’ll be able to keep baby in his stroller .

The menu ? burgers of course (tested for you the Blue Cheeseburger) and other meals. For dessert, I can recommend the  NY Cheesecake (miam ! as we say in French 😉 ).

[restaurant – Paris 1er ] An American touch in Paris!

In the center of Paris, in the first district, hides the typical american restaurant Joe Allen. You will enjoy it a modern and delicious American kitchen. We had a real very favorite for the desserts! English is the first language at Joe Allen, even the menu is in english! The atmosphere is there friendly, and the children are welcomed with a smile! There is no child menu  or nursery, but high chairs  and booster seats are provided to parents.

English spoken (of course ! and French as well…)
