Le Pain Quotidien is a chain of cafes installed in bakery. You’ll be served there fresh organic bred, croissants, pains au chocolat, pastries but also salads and light dishes. You may seat at the large table present in all restaurants of the chain or at smaller table.

High chairs and changing table are available to suit baby needs.

Square René Le Gall, a large public garden for the whole family in Paris 13

The René Le Gall garden is an « off tourist road », located near Place d’Italie and the entrance is on the street Corvisart. You’ll find there an access ramp for strollers and will arrive on the large playground, where there are also swings.

In the other areas, you may stroll through the aisles surrounded by trees and discover its roses garden.
For having picnic with your family, tables are available or you may chose to lay in the grass. In short, there’s something for all ages!

[Walking with baby] Champ de Mars with baby – Paris 7e

Visiting Paris always goes by going on top on the Eiffel Tower. However, once you are in the area remember to takes time to relax in your long visits days. From the top of the Eiffel Tower, between Parisian buildings, a green area is visible. The Champ de Mars is the ideal place for a picnic with your children, with the wonderful view of the symbol of France.  This park contains wonderful areas for your children to enjoy Paris, away from tourists and Eiffel tower key chains sellers.

The 1913 Carousel has seen two world wars. It is still in function and works mechanically. Take a ride with the Old Paris, next to the Eiffel Tower. It is at the corner of Avenue Charles Risley and Avenue Pierre Loti. A traditional Middle Age game is offered on the carousel, with a stick, children have to hit in a circle.

A more recent carousel is also in the Champ de Mars, on the other way.

When sunny days show up in Paris, pay attention around you, poneys and donkeys are trespassing. Children are able to ride them for a small price. Also pedal cars might appearing in the Eiffel Tower Park, another occasion for your children to try traditional games.

And of course, several snack places are always situated not too far away from these activities.
A calmer activity to enjoy with your family will be the puppet show. Look carefully on the date. It will be offered only on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and day offs. The website is http://guignolduchampdemars.centerblog.net

If none of these interest you, or are closed, playgrounds will always be in the Champs de Mars, and for free.

[delicatessen and café] Bleu Olive, Paris 7th

A nice finding with Bleu Olive, delicatessen and café in the heart of 7th arrondissement. Welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and a pretty menu.

For lunch a short (but attractive) menu shows salads, tarts, cold cuts, sandwiches in which each of you will find its preferred one.

Kids are welcome: high chair, changing facilities and a play corner are ready for them.

Parents and kids will enjoy a stop in the friendly place when strolling the city.

By the way, Bleu Olive is also a delicatessen: check and find the good and tasty products (cakes, tea, snacks, salted or sweet products) to bring back home for you next breakfast or snack!

Parc Montsouris in Paris 14: great place for sunny days!

Do you desire a getaway with your family in the South of Paris?

Mama Shelter: a family-friendly and modern restaurant in a hotel of Paris 20

Are you looking for a chic place where your children are welcome? Mama Shelter is the ideal restaurant, not far from Pere Lachaise. The restaurant of the Mama Shelter’s hotel is a very beautiful and modern place, with a discrete entrance in the long rue de Bagnolet.

Customers can relax in the sun in big wicker armchairs, but it is the main room which is suitable for families. The aisles are wide enough for strollers, you can ask for high chairs and there is a changing table in the toilets.
