Natema in Paris 20: workshops for children, games and cafe-restaurant

boutique jeux enfants paris

The associationLes ateliers de Natema” was created in 1901. From Monday to Friday, children are welcomed around creative workshops such as jewelry making or board games available without any booking.

I was received by Nathalie, who explained that the team also prepares snacks all the afternoon, in a kitchen at a sight of all, where kids can salivate in front of big candy jars.

There are facilities for babies and toddlers: a high chair, a changing mat, a dinette and toys. The chef can also prepare a meal on request from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Café Jeux Natema 39 rue des Orteaux, 75020 Paris
Open from Monday to Friday, from 9am till 7pm.
Restaurant opened for lunch from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
(article updated on April 21st, 2017 on Natema’s team request).

[cafe] Le Jardin du Petit Palais – Paris 8th

Even if this café is not specifically a « baby-friendly » place, it pleased us particularly by its tranquillity and its location…a pretty good address for a break while walking between la Concorde and les Champs-Elysées.

Petit Palais is the Art Museum of city of Paris. In a superb building, it hosts collections from Antiquity till begining of 20th century…and as (almost) all museums managed by the City of Paris, its entrance to permanent collections is free (entrance fees for temporary exhibitions and workshops).

Located in the heart of the building, the café Le Jardin du Petit Palais offers a large room soberly decorated.
Its menu shows drinks, light meals and snacks all day long. And, depending on the weather, you’ll be able to enjoy a table in the garden. The café does not have high chairs (but there is room enough to install the stroller next to you). No baby changing facilities neither in the museum (only a « large table » with no changing mat in the Ladies restroom on floor 0…).
