Les Funambules is a typical Parisian « brasserie » where families with children in Paris are welcome: kids menu, place mat for coloring and drawing, space enough for your stroller and a changing station.
You’ll also enjoy the atmosphere and decoration – have a look to the large painted ceiling – and French bistro food (large salads, charcuterie platter, rib steak, fish, ….).

Located in a courtyard of rue Daguerre, the creperie La Belle Ronde is not a specifically baby-friendly restaurant. However its configuration and decoration makes it welcoming for families.
In winter you’ll enjoy the indoor large room with its dotted colorfull wall decoration. The place is not equipped with high chairs but large space will allow to go through with a stroller and install baby at your side.
In summer, you’ll enjoy the terrace in the courtyard – fully away from any car, which is enjoyable with a toddler. This restaurant is equipped with diapers changing table. All this makes of this place a pretty place for a crepes lunch or snack with baby.

In the 10th arrondissement, surrounded by schools (3 of them in the same street), Un Air de Famille is a true family cafe. 😉
Parents from the neighborhood get in to discuss about the last news in the school facing the street… And after school children from the schools nearby join there for a snack and some activities. A light-full café – with its large windows – delicious dishes for lunch, cakes for snack time – and a large room for some games and activities.
A nice finding 2 steps away from the Canal Saint Martin. At the beginning, there was Anouchka, a children’s clothes designer. And then there’s her mum, a children’s toys professional. Together they funded La Maison DoDu DinDon, a concept-store dedicated to children.
You’ll find there DoDu DinDon children’s clothes (of course), but also a pretty selection of other French and foreign designers (Bbamie Création, Boumaga, Barnabé aime le café, Pöm, Maxomorra) ; but also a lot of toys, some “classical” ones (Vilac, Janod…) and some exclusive ones, found in France or abroad. In a word, this is a great place to spoil your children ( and/or yourself 😉 )
La Maison DoDu DinDon : 3 rue Alexandre Parodi 75010 Paris Open Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 7pm Sunday 11am – 5pm
When staying in Paris for few days, most of you will have a trip to Versailles castle with kids, to enjoy castle and gardens visit.
Few steps away, have a break in Monument Café, cafe who claims to be « cafe for families, travelers and curious ones », that is fully true!
A spacious soft-designed café, offering several self-service menus for lunch and snack. Its decoration is made of pictures of the castle and gardens, completed with a mural interactive model map.
And to welcome families this café is equipped with high chair, changing facilities and kid-toilets. The staff also organizes city tours for everyone, in French or English.

Even if this café is not specifically a « baby-friendly » place, it pleased us particularly by its tranquillity and its location…a pretty good address for a break while walking between la Concorde and les Champs-Elysées.
Petit Palais is the Art Museum of city of Paris. In a superb building, it hosts collections from Antiquity till begining of 20th century…and as (almost) all museums managed by the City of Paris, its entrance to permanent collections is free (entrance fees for temporary exhibitions and workshops).
Located in the heart of the building, the café Le Jardin du Petit Palais offers a large room soberly decorated. Its menu shows drinks, light meals and snacks all day long. And, depending on the weather, you’ll be able to enjoy a table in the garden. The café does not have high chairs (but there is room enough to install the stroller next to you). No baby changing facilities neither in the museum (only a « large table » with no changing mat in the Ladies restroom on floor 0…).

Staying or visiting the 7th arrondissement with baby? Have a walk to rue Clerc, a pedestrian street in which food shops – vegetables, cheese, fine food, …- are side by side with fashion shops. In the center of the street (and of the arrondissement), you’ll find the Café Central with its terrace and its large inside Parisian café decorated room.
Space between tables (inside) will allow you to navigate with baby in its stroller or install him next to you.
Café offers a (bamboo) high chair and a changing table is available in the (ladies) restroom.

Boulevard St Germain, 2 steps from St Michel, a welcoming « diner » that is fully baby-friendly. High chair and changing table available will make this « burger » stop easier with baby. Moreover, the main room is large and you’ll be able to keep baby in his stroller .
The menu ? burgers of course (tested for you the Blue Cheeseburger) and other meals. For dessert, I can recommend the NY Cheesecake (miam ! as we say in French 😉 ).
In the center of Paris, in the first district, hides the typical american restaurant Joe Allen. You will enjoy it a modern and delicious American kitchen. We had a real very favorite for the desserts! English is the first language at Joe Allen, even the menu is in english! The atmosphere is there friendly, and the children are welcomed with a smile! There is no child menu or nursery, but high chairs and booster seats are provided to parents.
English spoken (of course ! and French as well…)
